Organized in 1997 as a Limited Liability Company (LLC), Skyward has expanded its focus to enhancing the survivability and mission effectiveness of our customer’s people and resources. We do this by providing high quality engineering and professional services and developing custom technology solutions to resolve our customer’s difficult problems.
Our capability includes test & evaluation, modeling & simulation, and game-changing areas such as unmanned aerial systems (UAS), 3D services supporting additive manufacturing and digital twin technology, and machine learning.
Skyward employees are vital to its core capabilities. Collectively, our engineers and analysts range from ambitious recent graduates with fresh ideas to subject matter experts with over 30 years of experience. They encompass a variety of disciplines, including engineering, mathematics, computer science, and software development. Our academic training, combined with our technical experience, translates into exceptional value-added for our clients.
Skyward’s capabilities are easily accessible via a variety of contract vehicles. We have a Navy SeaPort-NxG contract, are a member of the National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC), and are a subcontractor on DOD’s large Information Analysis Center Multiple-Award Contract (IAC MAC). Skyward provides subcontract support to Army Contingency Base Infrastructure & Watercraft Systems; Army Research, Analysis, Development, and Planning of Force Projection Technologies and Laboratories; the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) Weapons Survivability Laboratory located at the China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station, California; the Air Force Civil Engineer Center at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida; and at the U.S Air Force 704th Test Group’s Aerospace Vehicle Survivability Facility (AVSF) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Skyward also has a number of Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contracts supporting the U.S. Air Force, Navy, Department of Agriculture, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). We are partnered on a number of other opportunities and are constantly on the lookout for new growth and technology partnerships.
